Spaghetti Sauce

Makes 32 Oz
Takes 1 ½ hour (slow cooking)
Dinner, Entrée, Michele, Vegetarian Option

A dead simple and easy spaghetti sauce that works equally well for lasagna.


  • 1 lb ground beef (or beyond beef)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cans of tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1 dash oregano
  • salt & pepper


  1. Add olive oil, garlic, and onion to a sauce pan and fry until brown
  2. If using a vegetarian beef replacement, brown in a frying pan prior to adding
  3. Add tomato sauce, ground beef, salt & pepper, parsley, basil, and oregano
  4. let cook at low heat for at least 1 hour
