Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 oz (1/3 cup) yeast
  • 6 cups water (room temp)
  • 5 lbs flour

Directions:

  1. Put margarine and salt in pan.
  2. Soften yeast in 4 cups of water.  Add to margarine.
  3.  Add flour mix by hand, adding water as needed.
  4. Kneed until smooth.
  5. Sprinkle with four on top, cover & let rise.
  6. Bake rolls at 415F for 25 minutes, bake loafs at 400F for 40 minutes.
