Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

  1. Beat eggs slightly.
  2. stir in sugar, salt, vanilla.
  3. Gradually stir in milk.
  4. Add ½ cup of coconut.
  5. Pour in shell, bake on 400 for 25 – 30 minutes, cool completely.
  6. Mix ½ cup coconut, butter, & brown sugar.
  7. Sprinkle over cooled pie.Broil 2 – 4 minutes 3 – 4 inches from heat.
